Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Graphics Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in creating motion graphics for a variety of mediums, including television, film, online, and social media. As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, you will work collaboratively with other designers, producers, and editors to create visually stunning and effective designs for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling motion graphics, visual effects, and animation for a variety of mediums, including television, film, online, and social media
- Develop and maintain the visual style and identity of projects, ensuring consistency across all elements
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and other designers to develop ideas and concepts for projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that they are completed on time and within budget
- Provide creative input and feedback to other team members, including junior designers and animators
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to ensure that our designs are cutting-edge and innovative
- Mentor and train junior designers and animators to develop their skills and improve the quality of our work
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, animation, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion graphics design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of styles and mediums
- Expertise in industry-standard software, including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong design skills, including a deep understanding of typography, composition, and colour theory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and clients
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience mentoring and training junior designers and animators
